My precious app

I’ve got this app
I don’t it use anymore
The updates on my phone broke it
Now I can’t use it no more

I want to delete you, but I can’t
Every time I look at your icon
I think about the good experiences
Your interface is just so easy to understand

I used you many times in the past
I was addicted to you
Now, you are just too old for the new systems

That’s why I have to delete you
To make some room for other apps
That will make me as happy as you did

But, you will always be my precious app

~ Rory Wauters

When I was in a break up, I wrote this poem. This was the first time (I think) using metaphores in my poems. You can interpret this poem in multiple ways like my other poems. Let me know your interpretation in the comments below.

  1. Wow, I really love this poem – the thought and metaphors! It’s so deep and hard but also so modern…
Not every person will understand this poem, but who will understand, will also feel it! ♥
Please, make more like this and I am really serious! ♥
